ETHERFACE 2x MADI
The EtherFace 2xMADI is a digital audio interface designed to enable high-channel-count and low latency interconnection of MADI devices to a computer. It has two MADI ports and can handle up to 128 channels at 48kHz in both directions at the same time.
Because EtherFace product series uses Ethernet to connect to the computer, it allows multiple Macs/PCs to share the same audio interface. This enables applications such as redundant recording and playback/recording from separate computers.
Besides live recording and virtual soundcheck, the ultra-low latency of Etherface drivers (2ms round-trip) allows you to use your favorite software DSP engine for real-time plugin insertion.
Due to its reduced dimensions, EtherFace is portable, giving you the flexibility to install it anywhere you need, from a small venue or studio to a location recording truck.
Interface de Audio
CoreAudio and ASIO drivers developed by DSPRO can turn your network adapter in a multichannel audio interface of up to 128 channels in 48KHz sample rate (MADI version) or up to 72 channels in 96kHz sample rate (AES50 version).
Plugins ao vivo
The optimized drivers make EtherFace line of products the first one on the market of network audio to allow live plugin insertion with very small latencies that shows no noticeable delays in the plugin return.
Padrão Ethernet
The communication protocol is Ethernet based being compatible with regular IT equipment.
With a standard Ethernet Switch it is possible to duplicate the audio signals for redundant recording in two or more separate computers.
